Reformed University Fellowship brings to the campus a heart for God, a love for the campus and convictions that are well formed, deeply held and which allow it to bring a fully-orbed ministry to students. The ministry of RUF is grounded on the foundation of the authority of scripture, the necessity of new life in Jesus Christ, and the central task of the church as the “gathering and perfecting of the saints.”
Philosophy
RUF has developed a ministry which is biblically informed and pastorally sensitive. It is consistent with the God-given role of the Church on campus to reach and equip students to love and serve Jesus Christ and his church. RUF is especially dedicated to helping students grow in grace, evangelism and missions, fellowship and service, and a biblical world and life view.
Distinctives
RUF is set apart from other campus ministries by its commitment to the visible church, to in-depth Bible study, to the student’s vocation, to emphasizing being over doing, and to challenging students to avoid pat answers in favor of thoughtful questions and sound responses based on critical thinking, proper interpretation of Scripture, and holistic application of Biblical truth.
